This piece is entitled “Flight”
Imagine the sculpture “Flight” on a rock outcropping visible from walking trail in the Sculpture Forest.
Imagine the bird shapes, both negative and positive casting shadows that change with the skies.
Imagine both shapes against the white of the snow.
The viewer stops being confronted by a large bird in flight, motion being duplicated and frozen in the moment, projecting motion, yet perfectly still.
